6. Shaan-e-Nuzool
It means that what are the reasons behind the revolution? Shan-e-Nuzool is the term used to describe the specific circumstances or events that led to the revelation of specific Quranic verses to the last Prophet. The Quran contains two types of verses:
- The first type consists of verses that are revealed directly by Allah without any specific event and those are revealed in response to particular events or questions.
- The second type includes those verses which were sent down in response to a particular event or question.
